New Challenges of Economic Reality Conference at Kyrgyz Economic University
On October 25, 2023, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “New Challenges of Economic Reality” was held at Kyrgyz Economic University in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This event marked the 70th anniversary of the university’s foundation and the 25th anniversary of its status as a higher education institution, and was held as part of the Anniversary Economic Forum.
Distinguished attendees included representatives from the Ministry of Education, scientists, university rectors, and educators from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, as well as members of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Experts and specialists from countries within the Eurasian Economic Union and beyond also participated.
The conference sought to highlight the role of universities in examining the socio-economic development of EAEU member states, the CIS, and other nations. It aimed to foster international scientific and educational initiatives and encourage academic mobility among young scholars and specialists, aligning with the contemporary demands of the labor market.
Participants delved into topics such as the evolution of the global socio-economic model, the progress of Eurasian integration in education, the implementation of innovative strategies in transport and digital logistics, and the assurance of food security through organic production and a green economy. The collective discussions aimed to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of economic challenges and opportunities while promoting collaborative efforts for the advancement of education, science, and international cooperation.
